She was predeceased by: her parents, Miguel Hernandez Cabrera and Magdalena Maldonado Hernandez; her husband Pete Benitez; and her son David Benitez. She is survived by: her children, Pete Benitez, Sandra Benitez (Robert) and Edgar Benitez (Helen). She is also survived by grandchildren and thirteen beloved great-grandchildren.
