He was predeceased by: his daughter Lori Ann Snyder; his parents, C. W. Snyder and Tillie I. Snyder (Sweitzer); and his brother Clair Wilson Snyder (late Jeanne Marie Snyder). He is survived by: his wife Angie F. Snyder; his son Scott Snyder; and his nieces and nephews, Debbra L. Cox, Robert M. Snyder (Doreen M. Snyder), Jennifer C. Leitzel (Galen E. Leitzel) and Amy L. Zimmerman (Kenneth Zimmerman).
Additionally, he made significant contributions to the real estate community by forming the Scottsdale Young Realtors Group.
