She was predeceased by: her daughter Virginia; her parents, Wanda Shumway (Fox) and Ralph Shumway; her sisters, Wanda Carter and Nikki Cole; and her nephew Lane Cole.
She is survived by: her brother Rick Shumway; her children, Steven Gavette (Amanda), Sterling Gavette (Kathy) and Stephanie Hell (Chuck); her grandchildren, Ryan Gavette, Jacob and Colton Hell; and her sibling's children, Dana, Lance, Duncan and David. She is also survived by many cousins and extended family.
Contributions Charitable contributions may be made in Virginia's honor to Arizona Humane Society or to Hospice of the Valley Ryan House.
