She was predeceased by: her parents, Sterling Legate and Evelyn Legate (Wells); her former husband Bob Johnson; and her sister Elsie Mathias. She is survived by: her children, Evelyn "Evie" Saunders (Sam) of Fairmont, Bobby "Wayne" Johnson (Jane) of Phoenix and Wendell Johnson (Jeanette) of Meredosia; and her brother-in-law William Mathias of Abingdon. She is also survived by four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
