It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Willie Ray Williams (Phoenix, Arizona), born in McNary, Arizona, who passed away on March 19, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, J. W. Williams and Ollie Williams. He is survived by: his brothers, Johnny (late Betty), James (Bettye), Charles (Loretta), Melton and Ernest (Gertha); his wife Pearl; his daughters, Daphne Payton (Kenneth) and Traci Williams-Marks (Terry); his brother Jesse Williams (Wiley); and his sisters-in-law, Theola Carrethers and Janice Williams. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
