He is survived by: his wife Janice Sather; his children, Heather Ptak (Jeremy Ptak), Kelsey Barrett (Joel Barrett) and Andrew Sather (Sara Sather); his grandchildren, Allison Ptak, Evan Ptak, Josie Barrett and James Barrett; his brother Paul Sather; and his sister-in-law Deanna Murdy.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites donations to the Curt Sather Memorial Scholarship Fund, supporting students in the Occupational Safety and Health program he was instrumental in creating.
