He was predeceased by: his parents, John Closs Williams, Sr. and Inez Williams; his sister Lynn Jones (Richard); and his daughter Laura Williams. He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his sons, Eric Williams and Mark Williams; his sisters, Nancy (Tom Clark) and Connie; his brother-in-law Duane Helmink; his friends, John and Beth Williamson; his cousins, Michael Murphy (Dawn), Cindy Watroba (Stan) and Mary Beth Murphy; and his grandchildren, Hunter Williams, Parker Williams, Slater Williams, Skyler Williams, Andrei Shpilenok and Makar Shpilenok. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
With the tenacity and vision that defined him, he established the first low-cost, self-schedule mammography program in the State of Nebraska, a pioneering contribution to women's health that reflected his lifelong commitment to accessible, high-quality care.
