He was predeceased by: his parents, Zula Clark Harris and Thomas Jesse Harris. He is survived by: his wife Charlene; his children, Richard, Karen, Philip, Brenda and Scott; and his siblings, Charlotte and Clark. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Tom's name to the National Fraternal Order of Police Foundation.
