We announce the death of Loyd Grey Young of Queen Creek, Arizona, born in Salt Lake City, Utah, who passed away on September 14, 2026, at the age of 86. Loyd will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Loyd L. Young and Zoie Young; and his brother J. H. Young. He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Lockhart Young; his children, Rodney (Paula), Loyd, Stacie Woolley (Jeff), Sundee Williams (David), Wesley (April) and Zoie Farmer (Jeff); his sister Mary Jane Phillips; and his brother-in-law Wallace Lockhart. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (21550 E Queen Creek Rd, Queen Creek, AZ 85142).
