He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Pennell and Alona Pennell (Lotridge). He is survived by: his wife Carol; his sons, Robert Pennell (Brenda) and Scott Pennell; his grandchildren, Lauren Gauer (Eric), Haley Pennell and Robert Pennell; his great grandchild Warren Gauer; and his siblings, Linda Barnes (Charles), Wayne Pennell (Nancy) and Alta Litwinski. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 26th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Peace Lutheran Church (5990 S Val Vista Dr, Chandler, AZ 85249).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Peace Lutheran Church (Building Fund), 15317 E. Riggs Road, Gilbert, AZ 85298.
