He was predeceased by: his parents, Fern Applegate and Robert Applegate; and his sister Marcia. He is survived by: his children, Byron Lee (Cora) and Spencer David (Tiffany); his wife Dena; and his daughters, Kari Peiers (Kevin), Mindy Peterman (Daniel) and Jana McCain (Bill). He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
