He is survived by: his wife Amparo Zamora Perez; his children, Manuel Perez Jr. (Elma), Dora Perez-Connolly (Paul), Rosana Pardo (Johnny) and Grace Wingate (Perry); and his grandchildren, Alicia May, Rene Langley, Paul Perez, Vanessa Mena, Steven Duarte, Stephanie Duarte, Samantha Orozco, Alfred Lord, Bernadette Mendietta, Brittney Wingate-Kern, Jennifer Peterson, Gene Peterson, Christina Peterson and Ashley Peterson.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Carrillo's Tucson Mortuary North Chapel (204 S Stone Ave, Tucson, AZ 85701). A prayer was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Holy Hope Cemetery (3555 N Oracle Rd, Tucson, AZ 85705).
