He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Scheff and Clara Scheff (Pluta); his siblings, George, Arthur, Raymond, Albert, Eugene Scheff, Hattie Lesch and Marie Madsen; and his siblings-in-law, Alice Scheff, Arlo Lesch and Laurence Madsen.
He is survived by: his children, Steven Scheff (Cheryl Reiman), Vicky Tadd (Allan), Douglas Scheff (Robin Hoffmeyer-Scheff) and Charnelle Scheff; his granddaughter Shannon Olson; his great grandchildren, Julianna Krueger, Destinee Gamboni, Easton and Milo Olson; his granddaughter JoDell Rakness (Chris); his great grandchildren, Dylan and Nate; his grandson Justin Scheff; his great grandchild Claire; his grandson Jeremy Scheff (Rose); his great grandchildren, Kimberlie, Katelyn and Derek Scheff (Loni); his grandson Christopher Scheff (Michael); his wife Betty Scheff; his stepdaughters, Karen Luberts and Kim Porter Henneman; and also, Violet Krueger, Stella, William and Paisley. He is also survived by great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lakeview Funeral Home (205 Albion Ave, Fairmont, MN 56031). The military honors will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Outside the Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Lakeside Cemetery (900 N Fairlakes Ave, Fairmont, MN 56031).
Memorials are preferred.
