He was predeceased by: his parents, Rodger Aaron and Edith Moody Cooke; and his brother-in-law Joseph "Joe" Peterson. He is survived by: his wife Toshiko Kinjo Cooke; his daughter Leika Cooke McNally; his son-in-law Terry McNally; his sister Joan Cooke Peterson; his sibling's children, Jody Peterson (Melissa) and Beth Fitts (Chris); and his close friend Dr. Buck Fondren (Lisa).
