She was predeceased by : her parents, Ray Leyva and Ramona Leyva; her brothers, Jimmy and Joseph Leyva; and her siste Patti Cunningham.

She is survived by : her husband Kenneth Ray Nichols, Jr.; and her children, Kristie Kieffer (Mike), Stacey Barsky (Brian) and Ric Hawkins (Rikay). She is also survived by nine grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
