He is survived by: his children, Joshua, Raelyne Ray, Jocelyn Ray, Kalyn Ray, Kylee Ray and Kayson Ray; his grandchildren, Keirra Ray and Joshua Ray (Baby Josh); his parents, Bobby Ray and Jackie Phillips; his stepfather Richard Phillips; his grandmother Mildred Louise Petty; his partner Robin Scherer; his siblings, Angela, Larry Portl, Brandon Ray, Nathan and Margo Ray; and his nieces and nephews, Jeron, Bella Portl, Kyler Portl, Seryna, Chuey Rios, Aliyah Ray, Alex Gonzales, Jadyn Ray, Dalecia Ray, David Gonzalez, Alyssa Ray, Bryson Portl, Brage Portl and Brogan Portl. He is also survived by his family and friends, especially his grandchildren.
