She was predeceased by: her husband Tom; her parents, Grant Godfrey and Clarabell Godfrey; and her brothers, John Turner Godfrey and Benny Godfrey.
She is survived by: her sisters, Lorraine Schultheis, Patty Arroyas (Art) and Pamela Powers (Tom); and her daughters, Bernice Roberson (Bobby) and Donna Griffith. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
