She was predeceased by: her husband George Shurtz; her sweet baby boy Stacy Hugh; her grandson Karson Cole Zimmerman; her great grandchild Gavin Rylie Shurtz; Julie Bluth.
She is survived by: her children, Lyle Shurtz (Sue), Stanley Shurtz (Carol), Julie Bluth (Brett), Joni Haidenthaller (Harald), Stacy Shurtz, Lance Shurtz (Lisa) and Amy Shurtz.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Vining Funeral Home (1940 S 20th Ave, Safford, AZ 85546). Viewing will be held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Solomonville Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (2249 S Stevens Ave, Safford, AZ 85551). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 3:00 PM and at 4:15 PM at the same location.
