She was predeceased by : her parents, Francisco Gallegos and Dominga Gallegos (Arrellin); and her siblings, Georgetta Tellez, Margaret Dominguez, Janie Gallegos, Nester Baker, Joe Gallegos and Tommy Gallegos.

She is survived by : her sister Frances Abalos; and her children, John Luis Ortiz (Teri), Robert Anthony Ortiz, Sr., Virginia Rebecca Ortiz, Christine Marie McGee and Alicia Renee Montanez (Ramon). She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Vining Funeral Home (1940 S 20th Ave, Safford, AZ 85546). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Safford City Cemetery (400 Discovery Park Blvd, Safford, AZ 85546).
