He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Elmer Kast and Isabel Kast (Lowe); his wife Arlene Miles Kast (Miles); his children, Douglas Miles, Sr., David Kast, Jr., Juanita (Howard Hooke, Jr.), Arlene (Floyd Pemberton) and Jo (Tom Lazo); and his sister Suzanne House. He was also cherished by 29 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren.
