Jimmie Ray Harrison Obituary

Jimmie Ray Harrison, 82, of San Tan Valley, AZ, passed away on the 11th of November, 2020, at his home in San Tan Valley, Arizona. Jimmie was born in Battle Creek, Iowa, to Ray and Elsie Harrison and graduated from Battle Creek High School in June of 1956. Jim was a banker for 40 years. He was Vice President of Stockman's Bank in Durango, Co; Hired on as President of a new bank, Sun National Bank, in Mesa, AZ, and assisted in opening a branch of National Bank of Arizona in Prescott.

Following a lengthy banking career, Jim was employed as Community Manager in various 55+ communities. Jim was married to Susan Harrison in Durango, Colorado on May 29, 1976 and they were happily married for 44 years. Jim was preceded in death by his parents Ray and Elsie and brother, Donald. Jim's step daughter, Jennifer Stevenson, also preceded Jim in death.

He is survived by his wife, Susan, of San Tan Valley, AZ; his stepdaughter Kathleen (Joseph) Ojeda; his sister, Janice Albers of Battle Creek, Iowa;. His grandchildren Samuel Stevenson, Jacob Cook, Jade Huber and David Ray White as well as 7 Great Grandchildren. A private service will be held at Sonoran Skies Mortuary.
