She was predeceased by: her mother Margie Barry; her stepfather George Barry; her sister Laura Barry; and her stepbrother George Barry. She is survived by: her husband Robert Hysko; her daughters, Julie Hysko and Heather Young (Robert); her grandchildren, Ashley Guajardo (Andrew), Anastasia Jackson (Adam), Allison Young, Tara Kobierowski, Isabella Kobierowski and Tristan Young; and her great grandchild Vesper Guajardo. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Hospice of the Valley in honor of April's compassionate spirit.
