He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry and Lula Frances Ditmore (Durham); his siblings, Neil Ditmore, Mary Jo Ditmore Hodge, Pauline Ditmore Barnett (Pete Barnett), John Ditmore Jr., Clarence Ditmore (Thelma), Charles Ditmore and Anna Louise Ditmore; and his in-laws, Joseph Ellis and Jessie Mills (Kizzia).
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Mills Ditmore; and his children, Carol, Allen Ditmore of Phoenix and Arizona. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and their spouses, grand and great-grand nieces and nephews.
