David leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. David’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew David will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jean Powell and James Powell. He is survived by: his children, Allison Powell and Matthew Powell; his daughter-in-law Sheila; and his siblings, Thomas Powell (Helen), Kathy Perkins (Mark) and John Powell (Nancy).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Dave's memory to OMSI https://omsi.edu in honor of his love of astronomy and his years of volunteer service.
