He was predeceased by: his mother Marie Kovacik; his stepmother Mary Baldwin Abbajay; his brother Bobby Abbajay; and his father Duane R. Abbajay. He is survived by: his wife Paula Pennypacker; his son Frazier Abbajay; and his siblings, David Abbajay of Bend, Oregon, Mary Abbajay of Washington, DC and Stephanie Abbajay of St. Louis. He is also survived by many relatives and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions be made to the Robert R. Abbajay Memorial Scholarship at Kenyon College.
