He is survived by: his mother Mary Yetsuko Ogami; his wife Caryn Ogami; and his daughters, Caitlyn Emiko Ogami and Natalie Yetsuko Ogami. He is also survived by his family, friends.

“The word “crushed “seems inadequate to describe how I feel about the loss of my dear friend, Gary M. Ogami. When I first moved to San Mateo in first grade, Gary was one of the first people to become my friend. Always kind, always considerate. Always available always present. Condolences to his mom, wife and two daughters I will miss you, brother.”
