He is survived by: his wife Deborah Rush; his children, James Rush and Lily; his grandchildren, Conor and Emily; his daughter Amy Reynolds (Dan Reynolds); his grandsons, Henry, Luke, David Rush and Hayden; and his siblings, Sally Gallagher, Dennis Rush, Monica Rush, Patrick Rush and Megan Mayer.
In recognition of his significant contributions to the industry, he was inducted into the Colorado Hotel and Lodging Association Hall of Fame in 2007.
