He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Frances Black (Embrey); his wife Tita; his father Brother Kent Black; his sisters, Eileen Blakemore (Jim) and Deanne Shepherd; and his nephew Denton Shepherd.
He is survived by: his children, Shane Black (Ali) of Arvada, Brandy Box (Robert) of Dallas and Lara Black (Sys) of White Rock; his sister Jennifer Black of Scottsdale; his nephews, Beaux and Scott (Kara); and his grandchildren, Brayden, Brynlee, Ryllyn, Banks, Vivien and Ryker Grant.
