He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Stangler and Lillian Stangler (Wesley); his wife Lois; and his siblings, Jerome Stangler and Lorraine Heyer (Gerald).
He is survived by: his children, Cindy Green of Northfield, Robert (Susan) of Northfield, Nancy Pappas (Jim) of Chandler, AZ and Larry (Marnie) of Scottsdale; his brothers, Edward (Mary) of Apple Valley and Leo (Cheryl) of Tucson, AZ; his sister-in-law Gisele Stangler of Plymouth; and his close friend Marjorie Carpenter. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren.
He served as treasurer at St. Vincent DePaul charity and volunteered at Our Lady of Perpetual Help both in Scottsdale.
