She was predeceased by: her parents, Verna Bird and Eugene Bird; her father-in-law Eugene Baker; and her siblings-in-law, Eva and Henry.
She is survived by: her husband Edwin "Jewel" Barber; her close friend Jewel; her siblings, Carol Petitgout (Martin) of East Dubuque, IL and Eugene Bird (Joy) of Waukee, IA; her nephew Zachary Bird of Chicago; her nieces, Abby Berger (Zack) of North Liberty, IA, Sophie, Stephanie and Natalie; and her mother-in-law Onnie Baker.
