With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Max E. Dilgard of Scottsdale, Arizona, who passed away on July 26, 2025 at the age of 103. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilber M. Dilgard and Ruth Dilgard (Foote); and his wife Margaret Dilgard (Morr). He is survived by: his children, Thomas (Cathy Jo), Michael H. (Karen), Sandra (Harvey) and Patricia (Patrick). He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 13 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:00 AM at the Hansen Desert Hills Mortuary and Cemetery (6500 E Bell Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85254). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Hansen Desert Hills Chapel (6500 E Bell Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85254). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona (2929 E Pinnacle Peak Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85024).
