He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Elizabeth (Reynolds) and Verl Booth. He is survived by: his wife Valorie Wheeler; his children, Angela Moskow (Rob) and Bryan Booth (Patricia Tomaszewski); and his grandchildren, Bobby and Anna Moskow.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Northwest Missouri State University Melvin D. and Valorie G. Booth School of Business to further Melvin's strong belief in the importance of education.
