It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Jule Peterson (Scottsdale, Arizona), born in Evergreen Park, Illinois, who passed away on February 26, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Peterson and Marguerite Peterson; and his son C. J. Peterson. He is survived by: his wife Michele Renee Peterson; his siblings, Gene (Gail), Don (Terri) and Marybeth; his daughters, Amy Welch (Ted), Julie Atkinson (Mike) and Shaina Davis (Rich); his grandchildren, Chaz (Ana) of Emmy, TJ, Cruz, Keaton, Cotton, Noah, Raycelyn, Isaac, Asa, Aiden, Lily and Malachi; and his siblings' children, Larisa, Michael (Christy) and Lucas.

Rick was always active in the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation as it was near and dear to his heart.
