He is survived by: his wife Donna Yantz Schacher; his stepsons, Dan (Jennifer) and Mark (Cyncy); his grandchildren, Jason, Samantha and Ryan; and his siblings, Dennis (Becky) and Ramona. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
