He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Mann and Alice Mann; and his brother Ed Mann. He is survived by: his wife Yanrong Mann; his sons, Peter and Charles Mann; and his siblings, Robert "Bobby" Mann, Michael Mann, Tommy Mann, Cindy Gray, Kathleen Mann and Jeanne Crisafi. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was a Mensa member and avid bridge player, playing nearly his whole life, while winning a major tournament in Las Vegas in the 1970's. Tim donated frequently to major conservancies such as the WWF (World Wildlife Foundation), Greenpeace, the Audubon Society, Defenders of Wildlife, and the Nature Conservancy.
