She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, David E. Feldman and Eleanor Helen Furst; her husband Jay R. Benenson; her son Steven P. Benenson (Jennifer); her granddaughters, Rachael and Hannah; her son Michael J. Benenson (Elizabeth); her grandchildren, Katharine (Jason), William and Jack; her sister Georgene Brazer; and her nephew John Simon.
