He is survived by: his wife Joyce McCune Bendix; his brother Don Bendix; his children, Bruce Bendix (Peyton), Louise van Vonno (Nicolaas) and Linda Heck; and his grandchildren, Will Bendix, Jamie Bendix, Marty Heck, Brian Heck, Allison Steen and Emily Steen. He is also survived by 2 great grand children.
