“Dear friends and family. I'm so sorry to learn of Bill's passing. I spoke to Bill recently and we were planning a reunion in Tucson this weekend with a mutual friend from our USAF days, Wayne Harris, and wife Betty. Bill was in good spirits when we talked and I'm grateful for that memory. An energetic, upbeat man of character and faith, and a true friend. So glad we stayed touch all these years and maintained our friendships. He will be sorely missed at our table Friday. He was loved by all!”
