He was predeceased by : his parents, George Gilmore and Pearl Gilmore (Morgan); and his siblings, Audrey, Harriett, Betty, Charles Gilmore, Norman Gilmore and George Gilmore.

He is survived by : his significant other Janice Vance Gilmore; his children, Allen Gilmore, Angela Kasten, Tracy Irwin (Justin), Anthony Gilmore (Talitha) and Toby Gilmore (Jessica); his siblings, David Gilmore (Darnell) and Donna Gilmore; and his son Terry Lee Gilmore. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
