She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Lupe, Sr. and Rose Nagle Lupe; and her sons, Leon Lawson Sr., Neon Logan Lawson and Dominique Van Lawson.
She is survived by: her child Dion Lawson. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
