She was predeceased by : her parents, George Pilbin and Anna Pilbin; her husband Robert Tanner (Bob); her grandsons, Jason Mulvey and Robby Stepka; and her close friend Edward Neal.
She is survived by : her children, Karen Dodson (Jack), Sheila Brown and Danice Mulvey (Vicky). She is also survived by her 4 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 13 great-great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and Suicide Prevention in Joyce's name.
