She was predeceased by: her parents, Dora Lenore Gough and Elden William Wade; her husband Kerry Ballard; her brothers, Elden William Wade, Jr. and Steven Lawrence Wade; and her in-laws, Leslie and Melva Ballard.
She is survived by: her children, Melvin (Maura), Jonathan (Jenny), David, Janelle and Jennifer (Greg). She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
