She was predeceased by: her parents, Antonio Moreno and Eulalia Ponce Moreno; her siblings, Ricardo Moreno, Antonio Moreno, Esperanza Perez, Angelita Marquez, Josephina Lucio and Teresa Casillas; and her granddaughters, LaTora Turner and LaNita Turner.
She is survived by: her husband Tony; her children, Barbara Alvillar Sosa (Jose), Martin Alvillar (Toni) and Lena Alvillar; and her siblings, Tomas Moreno, Inez Moreno Weinert (Gabriel), MaryAnn Thorn Jacobsen (Bo), Diana Betoney (Bill) and Nellie Casillas. She is also survived by 5 Grandchildren and 9 Great-Grandchildren.
Although Alzheimer's clouded her memory, she was able to continue her love of reading and could read any written word out loud to her family every day.
