He was predeceased by: his parents, Frances Chappell (Beckett) and J. Curtis Chappell; his sister Elaine; and his brothers-in-law, George Corning and George Slaney.
He is survived by: his wife Katsy; his daughter Traci Hooker; his son-in-law Dave; his grandsons, Ryan (Annie) and Austin (Brittany); his great grandchild Henry; his son Bret; and his sister Lois Slaney. He is also survived by several relatives and friends.
