A funeral service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (703 Heisler St, Mapleton, IA 51034).

Due to travel, the family requests no flowers. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Dave and Anne Sextro Trust (9734 West Wrangler Drive, Sun City, AZ, 85373) for distribution to various causes identified by Dave that support the educational and medical needs of youth.
