It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Donald Eugene Green of Sun City, Arizona, who passed away on April 26, 2026, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Leroy and Jessimine Belle Green (Backhaus) of Rockport, MO; his grandparents, Karl Louis Willie Backhaus and Lulu Mae Backhaus; his wife Phyllis Ann Green; and his daughters-in-law, Tami Green and Virginia Green.
He is survived by: his children, Gary Green, Brian Green and Cheryl Smith (Green); his son-in-law Craig Smith; and his grandchildren, Karl Green, Eric Green (Aimee), Alysia Green, Tianna Johnson (Eric), Brittney Kerth (Aaron), Austin Smith (Carly), Desree Smith (Kyle) and Dana Clark. He is also survived by three children and their family grew to include eight grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and seven "great-great" grandchildren.
