He was predeceased by: his father Arnold Zech; his wife Kathy A Zech; his mother Edna Niemand Zech (Niemand); and his siblings, Bill Zech, Janet Whitfield, Donna Hull and George Zech.
He is survived by: his children, Daryl Zech (Sherri) of Waverly, IA, Lisa Edelen (Jack) of Glendale, AZ, James Zech (Connie) of Mesa, AZ and Angela Blakey (Rick) of Maricopa, AZ.; his grandchildren, Ashley Shannon (Jordan), Andrew Zech, Rimiere Blakey, Breann, Aubree and Tyler Zech; and his great grandchild Weston.
