He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton and Alma; his brother David Bogaard; and his brothers-in-law, Larry DeBoer and Stephen Kollasch.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Vanden Hull; his son John; his daughter-in-law Michele of Goodyear, Arizona; his son Nicolas; his daughter-in-law Claire; his granddaughter Maeve of Naples, Italy; and his sister Debra DeHaan (Fred) of Storm Lake, Iowa. He is also survived by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Memorial gifts may be made to the youth golf organization, First Tee, Phoenix, Arizona.
