With sadness, we share the passing of Rose Marie Zimmer of Sun Lakes, Arizona. Rose, born on October 21, 1935, passed away on September 16, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Zimmer; her grandchildren, Christopher Carter and Kasey Zimmer; and her brothers, Paul, Robert and Ralph Bauer.
She is survived by: her children, Beth Carter (Stan), Kathy Halaney, Karl Zimmer (Sarah), Eric Zimmer (Debra), John Zimmer (Jennifer Moore) and Alice Tharenos (Tony); her grandchildren, Brandy, Andrew, Autumn, Jacob, Nathan, Alex, Katie, Tim, Max and Athena; and her siblings, Betty Lauth, Carol Heilman, Donald Bauer, Ruth Smith and Linda Garfield.
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Ascension Catholic Church (230 Santa Maria Dr, Chesterfield, MO 63005). A burial will be held on Friday, November 27th 2026 at the Valley of the Sun Mortuary.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Rose's memory to St. Peter Indian Mission Catholic School or the Chris Carter Charity for Life.
