With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carolyn Deanna Starkey of Tempe, Arizona, born in Phoenix, Arizona, who passed away on January 28, 2026 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Carolyn may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Carolyn touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Robinson and Frances Robinson (Greene); her former husband Kenneth Clarke Starkey; and her children, K. C., Juliet (Kathlene) and James Craig.
She is survived by: her friends, Lynn, Sharon, Linda and Normie.
In lieu of flowers the family requests a contribution to King of Glory church, in her name, where Carolyn thoroughly enjoyed her Sunday mornings.
